A film story about a recognised doctor and author of the most popular Polish love handbook – Michalina Wislocka. The woman who made the impossible, widely opening the door of Polish bedrooms. Cracking down on the conservative stereotypes and the omnipresent ignorance, Wisłocka has revolutionalised the sexual life of the country. All this with the help of one book. The film unveils the story of Michalina in different decades of life – the after-war 40’s, the Stalin Poland’s 50’s, the Polish People Republic’s 70’s – which has led to writing and publishing The Art of Loving.
