Autumn of 1981. Gathered around a TV, a group of nursing home patients is listening to a ghastly weather forecast for the upcoming winter. Considering the economic situation, the elderly may not survive. The very same night, a truck brings a transport of coffins. Watching how the caskets are moved to the attic, the patients connect the dots with an increasing fear: it seems that the management – unable to help all of them through the winter – wants to kill a few off. The decision is unanimous. They leave the home in panic.
