A story about two lonely people living next door. He is a successful scientist and a stark realist. She is shy, helpless and sensitive and never achieved anything in either professional or private life. The woman invites her neighbour over. For a brief moment, they seem to find common ground, but their time together won’t change anything. Strangers remain strangers.
