Zofia and her friend, Ewa, go to the seaside for “cleansing” at a special facility on the edge of the forest, far from civilisation. It’s supposed to be a nice, relaxing week, but – for reasons unknown – Zofia experiences anxiety, like something is about to happen. Suddenly, a mysterious man, Emil, arrives with his fiancé. Zofia recognises him and is positive he remembers her as well. But he denies. Water in a shower turns scorching hot. Cicadas are singing louder and louder. Emil’s partner hurts her foot. The man’s presence is unbearable. Feelings from the past rush back. The wall between past and present is tumbling down.
