Polish-Soviet borderlands at the turn of the twenties and thirties of the 20th century. After the crime boss and head of the Lewenfisz crime family dies, Róża takes over the clan. Together with her sisters she continues their father’s shady business and she does everything not to give in to the Soviet bandits led by a conservative Lew and growing in strength. At the same time, the inseparable brothers, Albin and Albert Hudini, implement a tricky plan. With the help of Helena they want to rob Lewenfisz’s bank and riches. However, just a few poor decisions, pure bad luck and two dead bodies is enough to put the whole intricate intrigue at risk. To make matters worse, right at this moment inspector Kochaj arrives in town with an ingenious knack for investigating cases. What happens next is going to have some bloody and black-humour consequences which will leave the borderlands shaken forever.
