Quo vadis, Aida?

A touching drama following of one of the darkest chapters in modern European history – the Srebrenica massacre. The main character is a translator, an intermediary between confused sides, struggling to piece together the world on its way to annihilation. A standard male optics of war is substituted for a non-obvious female point of view of the protagonist and Bosnian director born in Sarajevo. The film subtly gets under the skin and breaks the heart into pieces with its well-thought-out structure, masterful directing and genius editing.
