Elephant

Bartek (age 22) has a small farm in Podhale. His mother broke down after his father abandoned the family, forcing Bartek to take up the mantle of the breadwinner. In his spare time the young farmer gives it all to his beloved horses. When a neighbour dies, his son Dawid (age 32) comes for the funeral. Bartek is spellbound by the visitor and his carefree spirit. The first love forces him to decide if he’s ready for his own freedom. The film is a full-length directing debut.
