True Life of Angels – Polish Film Festival

Do you stop being an actor when you can't speak? Adam is at the peak of his career. His whole life is on the stage to the extent that he often puts acting first, neglecting his near and dear. Once in a role of a sinful but noble angel, now he needs one. Adam had a massive stroke. Doctors are fighting for his life, but the odds are against him. His wife, Agnieszka, believes that despite the comma, her husband is still somewhere out there and only needs to be convinced to return. And then taught everything anew for the disease will take away his speech and body control. She promises him that he will stand on the stage again and play. The fight to keep that promise begins. Probably for the first time in the history of cinema, an actor after a stroke, suffering from aphasia and paralysis, plays the lead role. A film inspired by the story of Krzysztof Globisz.
