Nina has just received her first prescription for a contraceptive. The sixteen-year-old girl is ready for love but not for sex. She organises her first night with her boyfriend but is unable to talk about sex with her mother. She believes that the act of love is something special and sublime, but her mum works in the erotic industry, which treats sexual intercourse instrumentally. When Nina finally experiences the simplicity and physicality of sex, she starts to question her ideals.
