The Miracle

The film is an adaptation of Ignacy Karpowicz’s best-selling novel – a perverse interpretation of the life of Mary and Joseph, combining biblical style with absurd humour. Chaos enters the life of a man – a hedonist and sinner – when his wife becomes pregnant. Terrified by the prospect of fatherhood, he escapes into alcohol and romance. But divine intervention forces him to quickly mature into a husband and father.
