Two estranged half-sisters, long at odds, embark on a journey to Ukraine to rescue their gravely injured father. They are confronted with a world of war, bombed-out homes, and charred tanks. Their journey takes them by car, then by train, and eventually on foot. Near Kharkiv, they unknowingly cross the front line and find themselves in a region occupied by Russian forces. Will they be able to find their father? Is there room for forgiveness and love in a world torn apart by war? What will this journey bring?
