Teenage Hania believes in pixies. After her mum dies, she moves to a new city, where her stories of little creatures make the other children laugh at her. To defend her belief, she brings a necklace to school, claiming it’s a gift from a pixie. Her new schoolmates steal it and give Hania an ultimatum: she must prove the existence of pixies, or she’ll never see the necklace again. The problem is that the necklace is, in fact, a memento of her mum. Worse still, Hania cannot complain to her dad because she took it without his knowledge.
