The Great Warsaw Race

A story about a young jockey who dreams about a sports career. The greatest of his dreams is to take part in the most important race in Poland, the Great Warsaw Race. Krzysiek walks into the world of horse racing with the gullibility of a rookie. He quickly realises that racing is about connections, powerful business and tampering with scores. The young man believes that he is able to change that, especially with the country being at the threshold of great change. The fall of communism gives him hope that the future can only be better. But in a world of corruption and dirty tricks it is hard to stay untarnished. Will Krzysiek manage to resist big money and a fast career? How much is he able to sacrifice to blow up the system?
