‘One nanosecond equals thirty centimetres. Approximately thirty centimetres. Imagining the speed of light calms me down.’ A film director’s mother is losing her eyesight. She visits her son and his girlfriend. Seeking relief by the sea, they all find peace in untamed nature, create a new, unspoken language, and turn these final moments into a farewell to light.
