Ada and Ewa, young teachers in love, are informed that their block of flats will be demolished. They do not want to go back to living with their families. With no savings and no prospects, they go on a hunt for a new apartment. The stakes are high. They fight not only for a roof over their heads but also for their life together and independence. Their journey through the city becomes an absurd odyssey full of surprises and encounters with other victims of the apartment crisis. In a world full of uncertainty, they try to save their sense of humour – and their relationship.
