During the summer holidays, sixteen-year-old Maks and his slightly older sister, Emma, go to the countryside to look after their ailing grandmother. In the stifling atmosphere of her Masurian house, a forbidden desire awakens between them, intertwining with their grandmother’s increasingly disturbing transformation and heralding the end of their childhood.
The film is the director’s full-length debut.
