It is the worst day of Mario’s life. When he finally drives home from work after several sleepless hours, his wife calls. She has just gone into labour and asks him to make it in time for the birth. Moments later, his boss orders him to turn round and head straight to his next job. Mario promises he will manage both. In his race against time, he is held up by a flat tyre. Whilst the whole country is watching the World Cup final, in which Poland are playing Brazil, Mario ends up at a remote roadside car park. Trying to get help from the people he meets there, he becomes the prime suspect in the disappearance of a small boy. To move on, he must find the child and clear his name.
The film is the director’s full-length debut.
