The Musicians

One of the most important achievements in Polish documentary film. A record of a Warsaw tram drivers amateur brass band rehearsal. The Musicians is purely observatory and illustrates the innate human need to create.

The film received, e.g., the Grand Prix at the 1960 Leipzig International Documentary and Animated Film Festival, Special Award at the 1960 Tours International Short Film Festival, Special Award at the 1961 Mexico International Short Film Festival and the Main Prize at the 1961 International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
