WORKSHOPS GDYNIA STORY
A new Festival initiative conceived by Wojciech Smarzowski. A project aimed at young screenwriters and directors, offering workshop-based sessions led by experienced filmmakers who analyse their own films together with the participants. The starting point will be the final version of the screenplay and the film made based on it. Gdynia Story will thus focus on the process of “translating” the screenplay into cinematic language, working on set, the contribution of actors, and shaping cinematic reality.
Mentors for the first edition will include Wojciech Smarzowski and Agnieszka Smoczyńska.Netflix is the initiative’s founding partner, and filmmakers behind Netflix productions will also serve as mentors for the inaugural edition.
Registration is required for the workshops and opened at the end of August
