She graduated from Film and New Media Studies at Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and Postgraduate Writing Studies at Collegium Civitas. She also studied in Polish School of Reportage, and was a participant of Doc Lab Poland program. For almost 10 years she was Director of Programming at Kino Polska TV Channel. In 2010 she received a prestigious Hot Bird TV Award for her work at Kino Polska. She also managed Department of Screenings and Film Events at the National Center for Film Culture (EC1) in Łódź. She produced Hanoi-Warsaw, a fiction feature by Katarzyna Klimkiewicz, that won the 2010 European Film Award. She is an author of numerous interviews with masters of European cinema, and she was responsible for creating dozens of film-related events that shaped the cultural landscape of modern Poland.
She researches the work of Andrzej Wajda and is the author of film studies about the master, television programs, and cultural events promoting his work. Since 2018, she has been promoting knowledge about Wajda's legacy by shaping the program of the Wajda Film Center as a head of this dynamic cultural institution.
