Marcin Wierzchosławski is a film producer, graduate of the Radio and Television Faculty of the University of Silesia in Katowice and founder of Metro Films. He won awards for Agnieszka Holland’s latest films: Green Border – the Golden Lions at the 2024 PFF in Gdynia and the Eagle, Franz – Silver Lions at the 2025 PFF in Gdynia. Green Border also received three nominations for the European Film Awards and the Special Award of the Jury at the 2023 Venice IFF, while Franz was Poland’s Oscar candidate. He also won awards for: Anna Maliszewska’s Dad – the dFlights Award at the 2023 OFF CAMERA International Festival of Independent Cinema in Krakow and the Ecumenical Jury Prize at the 2022 Warsaw Film Festival, and Xawery Żuławski’s Bird Talk – the Young Jury Award at the 2019 PFF in Gdynia. He is a member of the PFA and the EFA and of Producers Guild of Poland which in 2024 named him Producer of the Year for Green Border.
