Ita Zbroniec-Zajt graduated from the Direction of Photography Department of the Łódź Film School. She is a Polish cinematog- rapher living in Sweden. She won the Guldbagge Award (Swedish Oscar) for her cinematography in Måns Månsson’s The Yard, making history as the first woman to be granted the award in this category. She also received the Sven Nykvist Cinematography Award for her cinematography in John Skoog’s Ridge and the Golden Frog at the 2022 International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage in Toruń for her cinematography in Anna Jadowska’s Woman on the Roof. She works on feature films as well as on documentaries and commercials.
