“Wajda Anew. Supplement” is Andrzej Pągowski’s fifth original project promoting the outstanding directors of Polish cinema following Kieślowski Anew in 2016 (46 posters), Wajda Anew in 2021 (60 posters), Morgenstern Anew in 2023 (20 posters) and Has Anew in 2025 (25 posters). Previous Wajda Anew exhibition displayed posters for all films directed by Andrzej Wajda. This year’s “Supplement” is focused entirely on his Television Theatre plays. Exhibition consists of seventeen size B1 posters including key (advertising) art, fourteen posters for TV plays like Macbeth, Hamlet, Bigda is Coming!, and two educational posters. It inaugurated the Year of Andrzej Wajda celebrations at the Institute of Polish Culture in Düsseldorf and was covered by Telewizja Polska. Previous poster collections travelled around the country and were displayed at various exhibitions, e.g. during Festival of Stars in Międzyzdroje.
