Next to Nothing – Polish Film Festival

A group of farmers organises a protest in front of the house of an MP who voted against their interests despite his earlier promises. At the same time a body of one of the local farmers is found. Everybody suspects Jarek, the leader of the protest, even though the deceased was his closest friend. Jarek starts his own investigation that enables him to get to know the true causes of the victim’s death, while verifying the attitudes of the people around him. The film is the director’s feature-length debut.
