Alojz is born into this world in 1990. Years go by. The now adult man is a tough charismatic miner respected by his colleagues. However, his taste for alcohol and violence makes his loved ones – his wife and little sons – suffer every day. In a mining disaster, Alojz does not hesitate to save the life of a colleague he has been harassing mercilessly so far. The accident will turn into a breakthrough for the whole family, changing their lives irreversibly. Paradoxically, though, despite its tragic consequences, it will bring a spark of hope too.
