The Joy of Living

A young married couple with two early-school children plans to spend the weekend in a colossal theme park, a perk that comes with a family package called “The Joy of Living”. On-site, the woman discovers her husband has attempted suicide in a hotel room. He convinces her not to change their plans and act like nothing happened in front of the children for the rest of the day. Though she agrees, she spends the day conducting a secret investigation to discover what pushed her husband to take such a drastic step. The film is a directing debut.
