It’s March 1987. In the middle of nowhere, among the fields, Jacek murders a taxi driver, leaves his massacred body behind, and returns to the city in the victim’s car. The judge sentences him to death. Piotr, a young lawyer, is plagued by doubt — unsure if he chose the right line of defence.
