This full-length animated tale of great adventures experienced by Europe’s smallest mammals – shrews – centres on the legendary Shrew of Destiny. An old prophecy has long been passed down among the forest creatures: all animals will face doom at the hands of the dark Enemy (referred to, when no one is listening, as ‘Hooman’). The second part of the prophecy is more optimistic: in the darkest hour, a chosen one is to appear among the shrews – the Shrew of Destiny, who will stand up to the Enemy and save the entire forest and all life within it. The problem is that this chosen one turns out to be Dobrzyk, a not particularly resourceful and decidedly unheroic representative of his species.
