The Wind Over Aleppo – Polish Film Festival

Besieged Aleppo provides the setting for a world at war seen through the eyes of children. Jasmin and her friends experience childhood in circumstances very different from those of their peers in countries at peace. The film shows not only the situation in Aleppo, but also the tragedy of children caught up in armed conflicts instigated by adults around the world. It is a tribute to the children who remained in Aleppo. Its message is that even the hardest times can be endured with the support of family and friends, and a little optimism.
