Triptich Romane
Marek Luzar
NULL, 1 h 3 minFollowing the literary source, the film consists of three parts corresponding with the three meditations of the pope’s poem. Part one – “The Stream” – is a contemplation of the beauty and evanescence of the world and human life. In part two – “Meditations on the Book of Genesis at the Threshold of the Sistine Chapel” – John Paul II through the contemplation of Michelangelo frescoes introduces existentially most difficult truths of faith. Part three – “A Hill in the Land of Moriah” – is the story of Abraham who by sacrificing his son Isaac introduces the mystery of the God of the Covenant and announces the atoning death of Christ.
