Faced with rising budgets and increasing difficulties in closing financing, the industry is looking for new funding opportunities outside Poland.Financial incentives offered by Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia can provide significant support for international co-productions.
During the panel, experienced producers will share their practical experience of using foreign financial incentive systems.They will discuss the benefits of developing projects with partners from Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries, as well as the challenges involved – from formal and organisational requirements to production and financial implications.
We will discuss when foreign financial instruments genuinely increase a project’s potential and when securing them involves costs and complications that may outweigh the benefits.Is cooperation with partners from the CEE and Baltic regions an effective way to close a project’s financing today, or rather a solution that requires careful calculation?
