WHAT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO MAKE FILMS IN POLAND AND HOW CAN WE CHANGE IT? LAUNCH OF THE SPACE FOR DIALOGUE
Polish cinema today faces challenges that require not only diagnosis, but above all action and close cooperation between filmmakers and producers, on the one hand, and politicians and public officials, on the other. The increasing difficulty of financing films is one of the key challenges facing Polish cinema today. What barriers do filmmakers and producers encounter on the way to completing a film and connecting it with its audience? Representatives of industry organisations and the political sphere will discuss the conditions in which Polish films are made and distributed, and how these conditions can be improved.
