In Jerzy Rados’ Gdynia. My City and Paulina Kubica’s My Gdynia 100, private footage and conversations with residents form a collective portrait of the city. The screenings open a discussion on audiovisual archives as a vehicle for memory.
One of the guests will be Marcin Borchardt (The Beksińskis. Sound and Picture Album, Magic Hour), whose films prove that home video slowly
becomes a record of everyday events as well as a testimonial for people, current times, and the city.
