During the 51st edition of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, a meeting will be held to promote the latest issue of the academic journal Panoptikum. The publication is devoted to reflections on the PFF — its history, its significance for Polish film culture, and the changes the festival has undergone over the past fifty years.
The event will be attended by the authors of the articles published in this issue. The discussion will be chaired by the editor-in-chief of Panoptikum, Dr Piotr Kurpiewski.
We welcome anyone interested in Polish cinema, film theory and history, and contemporary reflections on audiovisual culture.
