Programme 51st PFF
The programme of the 51st Polish Film Festival in Gdynia comprises three competitions – the Main Competition, the Perspectives Competition and the Short Film Competition – in which we present the latest and most interesting Polish films.
The festival also features numerous non-competition sections and accompanying events. These include the ‘The Big Five’ – a section in which filmmakers talk about Polish films that are particularly important to them; ‘Polonica’ – screenings of foreign productions made with the participation of Polish filmmakers; ‘Gdynia for Children’, which offers a wealth of educational programmes, and the Janusz Korczak Golden Lion Cubs Award competition; and the industry section ‘Gdynia Industry’. The festival programme is complemented by numerous accompanying events – exhibitions, concerts, open-air screenings and masterclasses.
