Jerzy „Duduś” Matuszkiewicz
Composer and jazz musician. One of the pioneers of the post-war jazz movement in Poland. In 1950–1958, leader of the famous band, Melomani. From 1964, he frequently performed in Poland and abroad. From 1965, he committed to writing pop and film music. Member of the Polish Film Academy. Died on 31st July 2021.
