On the second floor of the Gdynia Film Centre, near Leszek Kopeć’s office, we have created a memorial corner. We have gathered memorabilia that bring his personality to life in many dimensions – not only professionally, as the long-time Director of the Polish Film Festival and a man devoted to Polish cinema, but also personally, as a lover of car rallies, literature, and billiards. We want a wide audience to remember him as his loved ones knew him – a man of many passions, open to the world and to people.
Visitors can watch a documentary Wspomnienie made by Marcin Borchardt and Jerzy Rados, which records the memories of Leszek’s closest colleagues.
