At the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, the Award for Best Visual Effects (VFX) in narrative films, a non-statutory accolade, will be presented to films selected for the Main Competition, the Perspectives Competition and the Janusz Korczak Golden Lion Cubs Competition.
The award will honour outstanding achievements and innovations in visual effects, which play an increasingly central role in contemporary film language.
Entries for the Best Visual Effects Award are open until 26th August 2026:

The award ceremony will take place on 25th September 2026, during the Young Gala at the 51st Polish Film Festival in Gdynia
The Award is organised by the Polish Post-production Society in collaboration with the Pomeranian Film Foundation in Gdynia, the producer of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
