Submit your film for the Film for Climate award, presented at the 51st Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. This award recognises filmmakers who adopt sustainable and environmentally friendly production practices. The award was established based on the manifesto Agreement for Green Audiovisual Production – Film for Climate, signed during the 46th Polish Film Festival.
Feature films and short films that have been selected for the Main Competition, the Perspectives Competition, the Short Film Competition or the Janusz Korczak Golden Lion Cubs Award Competition at the 51st PFF are eligible for nomination for the award.
To take part in the competition, please complete the entry form. The deadline for entries is 6th September 2026.
In each of the two categories, there is a financial prize of PLN 15,000, funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The Polish Producers Alliance is the award’s content partner, and the ‘Film for Climate’ initiative is its honorary organiser.
