19-year-old Tommy enjoys his carefree life full of drugs and reckless violence. One night he is kidnapped by a stranger, Chris. As he wakes up in a cellar of a house somewhere on the outskirts, Tommy finds himself in the middle of a dysfunctional family dynamic. Chris and his mysterious wife, Kathryn, are trying to make him a ‘good boy’ by forcefully resocialising him in a specific way. While he has to read books and learn good manners, only one thing is on Tommy’s mind: how to escape this place.
