He is spontaneous, loud and charismatic. She is brave, delicate and full of warmth. Head over heels in love and convinced that they can change the world together – Jacek and Grażyna Kuroń. They give up their privacy to sacrifice their lives for the fight for freedom. Their flat turns into ‘a headquarters’ of the opposition movement, a meeting place for people ready to risk everything for a better tomorrow. Yet for the Kurońs a great cause comes at a great price: moments of intense intimacy intertwine with years of being apart when prison bars separate them.
